Relax!  We’ve Got It!

All business should have a Plan: The Plan is truly the thermometer to use when evaluating the success or failure of a start-up company. We at Silver Lining Computing developed our well thought out and researched plan the first week of June, 2010.  Now, in this first week of August, two short months after opening our virtual doors, we have surpassed our goals!  Why?  Do not imagine for one minute that we sandbagged; we did not.  We simply underestimated the number of customers needing assistance with their IT projects. Additionally, we underestimated the reputation of Silver Lining’s talent.

Other than the newsletter sent out in July, followed by the newsletter you are currently reading, Silver Lining has not marketed the company; we are simply taking incoming calls and emails from customers that have heard about our services through personal acquaintances, and former colleagues, and  vendors.

The SharePoint work continues to flow in from incredible places.  Amazingly, Kerry is doing such great work that one project seems to lead to another and then on to yet another project with the same customers.  Lisa is working with Kerry on numerous parts of the customization projects. While Kerry and Lisa remain buried in customization and design work, Joanna is doing an amazing job with project managing a large Human Resources application implementation.  As the official executive contact, Joanna is also conducting vendor negotiations, cost comparisons, project  planning, and reporting.
